This Privacy Policy explains how Cilogic Tech ("Cilogic Tech", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the RE:SOURCE website at resource.works (the "Site") and the RE:SOURCE desktop application (the "App", and together with the Site, the "Service"). RE:SOURCE is currently offered as an invite-only private beta. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Beta access requests. When you request access to the private beta, we collect your name, company, role, and email address.
  • Communications. When you contact us (for example, by emailing support), we receive the information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically

  • Hosting and security logs. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data — such as IP address and request metadata — to deliver the Site and protect it against abuse.
  • A single functional cookie. The internal, app-only area of the Site uses one essential cookie to keep an authorized session. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, web beacons, or third-party trackers.

The RE:SOURCE application

The App runs on your own device and works inside your private, on-device workspace. You connect the accounts you choose (such as email, calendar, and contacts); the logins for those accounts are held in your operating system's secure credential store and are not transmitted to us. Outward actions — such as sending an email — are prepared as drafts and only carried out after you approve them. To provide assistant features, content you direct the assistant to work with may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

How we use information

  • To review and respond to beta access requests and manage the beta.
  • To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To communicate with you about the Service, including important notices and changes.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. With vendors that host the Site, deliver email, and provide the technology behind the assistant, bound by contract to protect your information and use it only to provide those services.
  • Legal and safety. When required to comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, the public, or Cilogic Tech.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Cilogic Tech is based in the United States, and your information may be processed there or in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@resource.works. Depending on where you live — for example, in California or the European Economic Area — you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will honor them.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Service may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page, update the "Last updated" date above, and, where appropriate, notify you.
